“El tema central que trasciende a mis obras es el de la investigación de diversas dimensiones y planos que surgen a partir de las capas de pintura acrílica. Tanto en mi obra bidimensional como tridimensional conversan la forma y el fondo. De tal manera, las primeras capas, en las que destaca la soltura e impredecibilidad de la mancha, remiten a la realidad como simplemente es, aleatoria, incontrolable e impredecible. Luego en segunda instancia surgen trazos que son ya intencionados, más densos, y sin embargo aún libres, hablando de nuestra propia aprehensión directa de las cosas, una suerte de intuición primera acerca de la realidad. Por último en las capas más superficiales, aparecen líneas rectas y rígidas, capaces de contener más no de abordar la realidad en su totalidad.”

“The central theme that transcends my works is the investigation of different dimensions and planes that emerge from the layers of acrylic paint. Both in my two-dimensional and three-dimensional work, form and background converse. In such a way, the first layers, in which the looseness and unpredictability of the stain stands out, refer to reality as it simply is, random, uncontrollable and unpredictable. Then in the second instance, traces emerge that are already intentional, denser, and yet still free, speaking of our own direct apprehension of things, a sort of first intuition about reality. Lastly, in the most superficial layers, straight and rigid lines appear, capable of containing but not of addressing reality in its entirety ”.
